Phonetic correlates of prosodic structure

This is a dry run for a talk to be given at the Workshop on Mapping Asymmetries (19th International Symposium on Theoretical and Applied Linguistics in Thessaloniki, Greece). I will present results from data on pre-boundary lengthening and pre-boundary intonation contours in Modern Greek, showcasing how the phonetic correlates of boundary strength can be informative for the nature of the prosodic structure, with special focus on the issue of whether prosodic domains are categorically or gradiently distinct.
