The booking and payment for WSC4 is handled through the University of Edinburgh’s secure payment system. Booking requires a credit or debit card. If you are not able to book using the electronic booking system for any reason (or have a problem using it), please contact us. It will not be possible to register on-site.
The booking website is here. If you do not already have an account with the University (likely), you will be prompted to register. We will not use these details, but the booking system requires them. You will need to tick the box to allow the booking system to use your contact details.
After registering, you will need to navigate four sections:
If you are a student, retired, or currently unemployed, you are eligible to register at the Reduced Rate (£75 until 31 March 2017, £100 thereafter); otherwise, please select the Full Rate (£100 until 31 March 2017, £125 thereafter). The registration fee covers attendance, tea/coffee breaks, and a wine reception. It does not cover accommodation or meals. You can book the conference dinner, if desired, in step 3.
You can copy these from your previously created profile by clicking “Use my customer details”.
The conference dinner will be held at Namaste Kathmandu Restaurant on Friday, 21 April. If you would like to attend the dinner, when you register, you will be asked to select one of the two options (vegetarian or omnivorous) at this step. You can view menu options here. If you do not want to attend the dinner, leave these options unchecked.
Please provide your institutional affiliation, and let us know if you have any special accommodation or dietary needs or requirements.
Proceed to Checkout
You will then need to “Add to basket” and “Proceed to Checkout” where you will be prompted for your credit/debit card details. You will receive a receipt by email at the email address you used to register above.
