Introduction

First things first:-

THE LINKS ON THIS PAGE WILL TAKE YOU TO PAGES WHICH CONTAIN VERY LARGE IMAGE FILES. ONLY FOLLOW THEM IF
a)  YOU REALLY WANT TO  or
b)  YOU HAVE A VERY FAST LINE TO THE INTERNET or
c)  YOU DON'T WORRY ABOUT PHONE BILLS

Okay, now I've got the warnings out of the way lets get to the images. The first set of pictures, are taken in and around the Isle of Skye. This island is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. The landscape is, in my opinion, about the most diverse if anywhere in Britain. Part of this is due to the Cuillin Hills being about the youngest mountains in the country, with the consequence that they have suffered less erosion, which makes them somewhat rougher than most, which has the happy effect of increasing the severity :-). The images, as you will see are constructed from a series of pictures. Sometime when I have a few hours to kill, I will improve the registration of the images. (manana, always manana)

One thing I should point out, is that these pages are optimised to be viewed at a screen resolution of 1024x768 (my screen's default resolution). If you view them at lower resolution, they will be viewable, but the text may be a trifle out of place.
Panoramic pictures from Skye

This next page is just a collection of photos I liked. Sometime soon, I will tidy up the pages.

Various pictures from around (and below)Scotland

This next page is simply one photo, taken on the Aonach Eagach in Glencoe. This is probably the most spectacular ridge walk on mainland Britain. Believe me, it's fun

The page that follows is sheer self-indulgence. However, I make no apologies for this
