Overlap

Occasionally, there are cases which can not be handled by embedding. These (rare) casesshould have onset and offset marked with <OVER>.

Impossible cases: Sometimes the speech is just too messy or the disfluency too disfluent to label properly. If you find one of these, mark it with <DEG> (Shriberg's "Degenerate") or with <REF> for "refer to Robin". Don't give up too easily, but DO use <REF> as much as you feel like -- it's good to talk.
