I'm interested in the evolution of linguistic meaning, in particular word meaning. My research focuses on the relationship between words and concepts, and how the conventions established by communication shape meaning origin and change.
I'm currently a PhD student in the Language Evolution and Computation research unit, supervised by Kenny Smith, Simon Kirby and Nik Gisborne.
