Information Day
We hosted an Information Day for teachers at the University of Edinburgh in September 2005. Speakers at the meeting included Anton Colella, Chief Executive of SQA and the authors Anne Donovan, James Robertson and Matthew Fitt. The Information Day allowed us to establish some of the concerns and objectives that teachers had in relation to the teaching of knowledge about language in schools. We hope to provide a series of smaller workshops on particular topics of relevance to teachers in the future.
Northern Englishes Workshop
There was a special session about teaching language in schools at the Northern Englishes Workshop at the University of Edinburgh.
